How a sale works, all on your platform.

Customers pay online, items ship with your carrier, and every sale gets a receipt.

  1. List

Take a photo, and the AI adds title, details and price.

  2. Auction or fixed price

Bidding with a reserve price, buy now or a fixed price.

  3. Pay

The money is held until the item arrives.

  4. Ship and settle

Shipping label created automatically, receipts with VAT.

A thrift store that also sells online.

This is what it can look like: the range of all stores in one online shop under the thrift store’s own brand. One photo of a whole table gives several listings, special pieces sell at market value, and a younger crowd buys online too.

Questions about the marketplace

Does the marketplace work for thrift stores?

Yes. Your team photographs the goods, several pieces in one photo if you like. The AI recognizes each piece, writes the listing and suggests a price based on market value. That brings the range of all your stores online, special pieces go to auction, and customers pick up in store or have items shipped.

Can public offices run online auctions with it?

Yes, for example as an eGant in Switzerland. Debt enforcement and bankruptcy offices auction seized goods online, with a reserve price and a fixed end. Bids, the winning bid and receipts run on the platform, under the office’s own name.

How much work is listing an item?

One photo is enough. The AI recognizes the item and fills in title, description, category and a price suggestion. Your team checks and publishes. Volunteers and temporary staff without expert knowledge manage it too.

Are the statements VAT-compliant?

Yes. Every transaction gets a receipt. Commissions and payouts are settled in line with VAT rules and are visible in the back office.

Do we need Loopia Trade-In for it?

No. Loopia Marketplace is a product of its own and runs without Trade-In.

Which countries is the marketplace made for?

Loopia Marketplace is built for international use. Payment, shipping and statements follow your market, with the payment methods your customers know and your shipping partner.

Who can sell on the marketplace?

You decide: your stores, your partners or your customers. You set categories, fees and rules, and your team reviews the listings.

How do buyers and sellers get their money and their goods?

Payment runs through the integrated payment solution, and the money is held until delivery is confirmed. The shipping label is created automatically, and both sides see the tracking. Nobody has to leave your platform for it.

How do we earn money with the marketplace?

With a commission per sale. Statements and receipts are VAT-compliant and visible in the back office.

How long does the rollout take?

That depends on the scope. Veloclick by Veloplus was live within a few months, with little work for its own IT team.
