Your customers pay only the difference.

Credited with a trade-in bonus. Or paid out by bank transfer, voucher or store credit.

The money stays with you.

For your customers

  • Pays only the difference on a trade-in
  • More value with the trade-in bonus
  • Chooses credit, store credit or cash

For your team

  • Buyback and new purchase in one step
  • Store credit brings customers back
  • Receipts straight into the ERP

Three ways, you decide which.

  1. Credit

Directly against the new product, with a trade-in bonus.

  2. Store credit

For the next purchase, also with a bonus.

  3. Payout

By bank transfer or voucher, without a bonus.

On a trade-in, only the difference counts.

The buyback price and the bonus come off the price, and your customer pays the rest in one step.

  • Webshop
  • Checkout
  • Store
Example: Sony Alpha 7 IV for $2,199, less the buyback of the Sony Alpha 7 II $360 and the trade-in bonus $36. To pay $1,803.

Business customers sell with VAT, at no extra effort.

A customer who sells through a company chooses “Business”, enters the VAT number and uploads the invoice.

Questions about trade-in, payout and finance

How does the direct trade-in work?

Your customer picks a new product at checkout, on the buyback page or in store and hands in the old one as part payment. Loopia offsets the buyback price plus trade-in bonus against the purchase price, and the customer pays only the difference, through your existing payment providers.

How high is the trade-in bonus?

You decide. In the example on this page it is 10%. The bonus applies to a direct trade-in and to store credit. That gives customers a reason to redeem the value with you instead of taking cash.

Which other payout methods can we offer?

Bank transfer, voucher and store credit. You control which ones your customers see, depending on your setup. Afterwards they see the amount, the payout method and the status in the customer portal.

How do we handle buybacks from business customers?

In the trade-in, the customer states that they sell as a VAT-registered business, enters their VAT number and uploads the invoice. Your accounting team checks the invoice and approves it. VAT is shown, and the whole process is documented.

How does the data get into accounting?

Through the interface: products and the buyback and sales receipts go to your ERP or finance system in real time. For a trade-in, that means both receipts, for the old and the new device. If you use Loopia without a deep integration, you download the data as CSV or Excel.

Who owns the data?

You do. Loopia acts as a data processor. You have access to your raw data at any time and can export it.
